Attempt to Remove Creases on AJ1 Retro Part 7

posted Apr 22, 2011, 10:19 PM by The Camera Guy

Description: In this video, we attempt to remove the creases from the side panel using a fabric steamer. When doing this process, you need to use a towel to cover the portion you will steam, as it may damage the shoes. In addition, you need to soak the side panels both in and out carefully prior to steaming. When fabric steaming the toe box, use the same caution and procedure with the side panel.

If you don't get the desired results, try a few more times. Just note, results will vary. In the end, we were not able to remove any substantial creases off the Air Jordans, and even if it didn't work, good information is taken from this. Not all shoes will have removable creases. You just have to try other shoes and see if they work for you.

In the past, I've tried this method on the Jordan 3 & 13's and it worked to reduce the creases on those, so there is definite possibilities with this method. The last video will be a summary and wrap up of the AJ1 Retro Restoration Project. We may also have details on our next project. So STAY TUNED!!!
